Andrew P. Campbell is a senior litigation partner
of Leitman, Siegal, Payne & Campbell, LLC. After graduating from the
University of Alabama School of Law in 1978, where he was a member
of Order of the Coif and the Law Review, as well as an M. Leigh
Harrison Scholar, Mr. Campbell clerked for Judge Walter P. Gewin on
the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Since that
time, he has practiced law in Birmingham, specializing in all areas
of business litigation, including corporate and securities
litigation and shareholder and derivative actions in federal and
state court. He is a member of the state of Alabama Securities
Commission and has served as Special Assistant Attorney General
representing the state of Alabama in many cases. Mr. Campbell has
tried numerous cases in both federal and state courts and before all
the major arbitration panels throughout the United States. For many
years, Mr. Campbell has been a member of Best Lawyers in American
and Super Lawyers and has held an AV rating by Martindale Hubbel. He
has authored articles, including several pieces on the development
of shareholder rights.
